Tillerkite Pre-School
Tillerkite Pre-School (formerly Blacks Camp Pre-School) in Somerville went through the process of changing their name. Tillerkite means “play” in aboriginal language.
The name change was undertaken to recognise the indigenous significance of the area in a culturally appropriate way.
Logo design
The original drawing of kids used in the kinder’s first logo from 1987 was converted and incorporated into the new logo in recognition of the history of the kinder.
Business stationery
Letterhead templates and newsletter header images were created for in-house use.
Signage
New signage was designed for the street frontage of the kinder. Bold, bright and easy to read from a distance, as the kinder is a fair distance from the nearest road.
Website
We created a website for Tillerkite Pre-School, with the aim of it to be a source of information for upcoming and current families attending the kinder.
