Harigon Gourmet Foods

Harigon Gourmet Foods produce various pasta products, including their range of kosher kreplach (a type of dumpling).

We had the honour of designing the packaging for their range of kreplach, which comes in three flavours – potato & onion, cheese & spinach and potato & mushroom. The brief was to give the packaging a home-made and rustic feel, while still being able to tell the products apart.

The home-made and rustic feel was created through the use of images of the ingredients in their original form and “wrapping” the packaging in a hessian pattern, while we used deep “painted” colours on the hessian to differentiate the products.
